A Credit Repair Success Story!

August 27, 2008 · 1 comment

A few months ago I wrote two posts on removing late payments from your credit reports, and how to clean up your credit reports.

Within a few short days these articles became two of most popular articles on my blog and to this day are among the top 5 most frequently viewed pages on my site. My article on removing late payments from your credit reports even earned my sites first submission into the popular social bookmarking site StumbleUpon.

So why am I writing all of this? Early this morning, a reader posted his credit repair success story on the Trees Full of Money Forums. The most rewarding part of being a personal finance blogger is knowing that your posts are helping other people!

Hi! I found this place when checking for information on getting negative remarks taken off of my credit report. My wife and I missed a payment by sheer forgetfulness and I was notified by Freecreditreport.com that negative information was posted on my reports. I drafted a Letter of Goodwill per the suggestions from this blog and I got a response from the company by phone. They took care of it for me and I once again have sparkling credit!

If you are in the process of repairing your less than perfect credit I hope that you find these two articles helpful! As always, don’t hesitate to email me or leave a comment below if you have any further questions or comments.
