The Best Personal Finance Books

October 12, 2008 · 2 comments

When I began this list of favorite personal finance books, I envisioned a long list with detailed accounts of each book that I had purchased or borrowed from the library over the last 5 years.

I figured that the more books I added to this list, the more books would be bought through my associate links with Amazon (Trees Full of Money gets a small commission for all products purchased through Amazon).

Then I realized that few people have the extra time to sit down and read through a bunch of different books on money management to get the information they need. Instead, I am offering a short list of the most influential and beneficial books that I have read since beginning my own financial recovery.

Each book is ranked by order of having the most positive impact in changing how I perceived and handled money.

How about “A Random Walk Down Wall Street”.

I loved “A Random Walk Down Wall St”

It was one of the most influential investing books that I ever read.

It handles investing very well, but doesn’t get into the beef of personal finance issues for everyday people.

I also liked one up on wall st, by Peter Lynch (although that one is a little dated now).
